The Neuss Chamber Ensemble (Kammerensemble) directed by Serdar Somuncu regularly presents theatrical performances, including children's theatre, as well as readings and panel discussions. Examples which might be cited include "Jürgen Kohler, Football Hero", a production of Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice", Daio Fos's "Nur Kinder Küche Kirche" ("Nothing but Children, Cooking and Church"), Somuncu's readings from "Mein Kampf" and "Do You Want Total War?", and the children's plays "Pippi Langstrumpf" and "Pippi's Return".
